In 2018, Lara Hussein was a pioneer in innovating new extensions of the M&C Saatchi offering that were hitherto unseen in the Malaysian industry. She maintained her strong commitment to empowering female leaders, and her passion for attracting, empowering and motivating young graduates to choose a career in advertising. At the same time, 2018 was a year of record achievements for M&C Saatchi. The highlights: A pitch success rate of over 75%, a client retention and satisfaction rate of 100%, and revenue peaks that were the highest in five years. In addition, she undertook a unique project called Dialog, a book and national movement to reunite Malaysians around our core values. She also achieved thought leadership across professional bodies, policy think tanks, and galvanised the industry’s umbrella body to take the recruitment of fresh graduates more seriously.
