2020 marks Gina Qiao’s 30th anniversary at Lenovo, closely following Lenovo’s 35th anniversary last year. In many ways, her rise from junior staff to SVP, Chief Strategy Officer and Chief Marketing Officer mirrors the company’s rise – Lenovo has grown into an MNC with operations in 180 markets and 57,000 employees. 2019 was a pivotal year for Gina.
She spearheaded a brand and business transformation to drive engagement with customers that has delivered unprecedented business and reputational success. She drove the transformation of Lenovo’s corporate culture and has been personally involved in all of Lenovo’s female employee empowerment programs, including Women in Lenovo Leadership and the Women’s Leadership Development Program.
As a result of improving D&I figures, initiatives, and best-in-class culture, Lenovo has been named as one of few Chinese companies on the Bloomberg Gender-Equality Index, the Corporate Equality Index and Working Mother Media’s Diversity Best Practices Inclusion Index.
