Award: Campaign Categories \ Women Leading Change Campaign

Much has been researched and written about what advances gender representation in organisations. For VMware, it is about creating a culture of possibilities to empower women.

With deliberate investments and sustained leadership commitment and accountability, the company is spotting double digit growth in women’s global hiring representation and global executive repesentation. Yet more can be done to build a gender responsive culture that is evolving to the needs of women in the workforce, and those who intend to return.

VMinclusion Taara is an initiative in collaboration with international non-profit organisation Women Who Code, was launched with the aim to train 15,000 women in India to rebuild their career and return to the technology industry after a career break of at least 6 months.

A communications campaign across paid, owned, earned channels was designed and launched to raise awareness and increase sign-ups for the programme.
